Australia Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) Visa (Subclass 186)
The Employer Nomination Scheme (Subclass 186) is a permanent residency (PR) visa that allows skilled workers nominated by an Australian employer to live and work in Australia permanently.
Key Benefits
- Direct Entry Stream: For applicants inside or outside Australia. Requires employer nomination. Usually requires at least 3 years of relevant work experience. Positive skills assessment (unless exempt). Occupation must be on the Core Skills Occupation List (CSOL).
- Temporary Residence Transition (TRT) Stream: For applicants holding an eligible Subclass 482 or former 457 visa. Usually requires working for the sponsoring employer for at least 2 years before nomination.
- Labour Agreement Stream: For applicants sponsored under a labour agreement between an Australian employer and the Australian Government.

Australia Skills in Demand Visa (Subclass 482)
It is a temporary employer-sponsored work visa that allows approved Australian employers to hire overseas skilled workers when they cannot find suitably qualified Australian workers. It replaced the former Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa.
